Fiorentina’s Senegalese striker Khouma Babacar may soon be involved in English Premier League action, as Crystal Palace prepares an offer to secure the services of the 23-year-old attacker.
Reports in the Italian media suggest that Palace are ready to offer €10 million in exchange for the Senegalese attacker, and that could be enough to see him leave Italy for England.
Five goals in 18 Serie A games for the Florence-based team has endeared him to the Viola faithful, but The Eagles are hoping to bring him to London ahead of the new season.
Babacar has been a Fiorentina player since joining the their youth team in 2008, turning out for the Serie A club on a fairly consistent basis for the last two seasons, after a few loan spells at Padova and Modena in the lower leagues.
The striker is yet to play for the Teranga Lions, but if he secures consistent game time in the English top flight, his chances of representing the Senegalese national team will increase tremendously.
