The FNB Joburg Art Fair is the first international contemporary art fair of its kind in Africa. Over a period of three days, it brings artists, collectors, curators and art enthusiasts to the city.

The fair took first took place in 2008 and has been growing ever since. There’s always a broad range of mediums on display. From installation work (like that of Angolan artist Francisco Vidal) to the gorgeous photographic work of Lakin Ogunbanyo.

Exhibitors mostly consist of South African galleries but others are gradually coming from abroad, which shows the growing influence and authority of the fair.

The fair is taking place at Sandton Convention Centre, Joburg from September 11 – 13, 2015.
