A charity football match organised by Cameroon’s Samuel Eto’o will see a flurry of world-renowned players make their way to Turkey in order to take part.

The match will be played in Antalya on July 16 with players from all over the world who have befriended or featured alongside the former Indomitable Lion and current Antalyaspor striker during his illustrious career taking part.

At club level Eto’o has enjoyed a successful career playing for the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea and Inter Milan, amongst numerous other sides.

As a result, the calibre of players confirmed to take part in the charity match is high, with stars such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, Eden Hazard, Andres Iniesta, Francesco Totti, Jay-Jay Okocha, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Didier Drogba set to be in attendance.

The bench will also feature a few high profile individuals, with José Mourinho and Diego Maradona, expected to coach the two teams, which will be Eto’o’s All Stars versus the Turkish All Stars.

Funds raised at the Turkish charity football encounter will go towards the Samuel Eto’o Foundation, which was launched in 2006 and works to support disadvantaged young people in West Africa with regards to issues such as education, basic health and social inclusion.
