Bamako Encounters, the African Biennale of photography held in Mali, is back after two years of interruption due to instability in the country. The 10th edition will run from October 31 to December 31.
Curator Bisi Silva and her team have chosen to feature the work of 39 artists under the title Telling Time. The artists question the idea of time and explore new ways of thinking about the past, debating the present and imagining the future.
