25,000 fans gathered for a free concert starring Wizkid, Kiff No Beat, BanlieuZ’art, Azaya, Soul Bang’s, Sia Tolno and Instinct Killers in Conakry yesterday.
It was a bitter-sweet moment to remember the victims and celebrate the heroic healthcare workers who’d been at the frontline in the fight against Ebola. It felt like life was finally returning to normal.
The concert certainly was the hottest ticket in town; even President Alpha Condé turned up.
