I was in the midst of celebrating news of AKA and Anatii squashing their beef when I was brought down to earth by a grim realisation: we’d probably never see AKA perform his hugely popular and notoriously scathing diss track directed at Anatii, Composure.
What a shame!
But one thing it gave rise to was a smashing reincarnation of their hit song, The Saga during the Joburg leg of Anatii’s #ArtiifactTour as the two performed side by side for the first time in over a year. The roof came off when AKA (white tee) joined Anatii (headband) on stage and you’d be forgiven for thinking that he was the international act when, in fact, it was Omarion (orange sweatshirt).
But to be fair, Omarion more than played his part in an evening celebrating Anatii’s new album, Artiifact. Besides Omarion’s showy dance moves, one of the highlights of the night was the first ever performance of his and Anatii’s new song, Tell Me.
