DOs and DON’Ts of the red carpet in 2015

Sometimes you can get it right. Sometimes you can get it badly wrong. And all you need is a little advice (and look to Lupita for guidance). Here’s our rundown of best and worst 2015 red carpet cases  at each of the biggest events in show business.

MTV Africa Music Awards

DO: Rock it in a fancy white dress and big hair.

DON’T: Look cheap and wear dresses that are too tight (and similar to your wingwomen). Did they have a sale on? Mind you, girls that dress together stay together…

All Africa Music Awards

DO: Accessorise with a cute classy man.

DON’T: Risk it in pink leopard print.

3.
Nigeria Entertainment Awards

DO: Look dreamy in a long mermaid dress

DON’T: Even think about a ‘Going to the cinema with my fellas’ outfit. Sorry, but a skull bandana is not a style.

4.
Magic Viewers Choice Awards

DO: Look like a princess in an embroidered and perfectly suitable sparkling dress and head band.

DON’T: Look like your attending your own wedding… in the eighties.

5.
Africa Movie Awards

DO: Rock it in a classic golden dress.

DON’T: Try and get away with a ‘going to the grosery store’ outfit.
