Everton have completed the signing of Congolese star Yannick Bolasie from Crystal Palace for £25 million.
In a summer of big money moves, the winger who was still playing in Championship as recently as 2012 moves to Merseyside to become Ronald Koeman’s fourth signing. The Dutch manager certainly favours speedy wing play having developed Saido Mane at Southampton before the Senegalese star was sold to Liverpool for £30 million.

The move was widely expected, although Palace fans attempted to convince Bolasie to stay by giving him a rapturous reception at the Eagles’ game at the weekend against West Brom.
Former manager Alan Pardew described Bolasie as a ‘true professional around the team, with an infectious personality which we will miss around the club’. Bolasie will look to erase the memories of last season’s FA Cup defeat to Manchester United by firing Everton up the league table towards European qualification.
