You can’t call yourself a real basketball fan if you haven’t heard of LadyHoop. LadyHoop was founded in 2008 by French and Senegalese journalist, entrepreneur and one of our very own TRUE Africa writers, Syra Sylla. The site is a must-go for all things related to women’s basketball.
In 2014, serial entrepreneur Syra launched the LadyHoop shop, an online shopping website to promote female creativity.
TEEWAX GIRLS CAN DUNK is the latest collection from the label. The Senegalese line is a celebration of women taking up challenges every day. Yeah, girls can dunk but they can do so much more: this new collection is not only for those of us who enjoy playing ball; it looks fly whatever you’re doing.
