Afropunk is spreading its wings across America with its first festival in Atlanta, Georgia. Expect to see performances from the likes of D’Angelo and the Vanguard, Kelela and Lion Babe.

The alternative Afro-centric event has gone from strength to strength since its first Brooklyn festival in 2005. They had their first European Afropunk in Paris this summer and are ramping up their presence as the alternative urban fest in the US (and perhaps beyond).
