A new survey conducted by Cable TV revealed which games were searched most frequently on Google in various countries. And South Africans can’t get enough of the PlayStation 4 video game.
Most sub-Saharan African countries were interested in FIFA 17 which was the most popular game around the world overall. Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco and Nigeria can’t get enough of it.
Senegal loved the team-based multiplayer online first-person shooter game Overwatch the most. Other countries which are also fans include Puerto Rico, Canada, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Algeria and Tunisia’s favourite game was the multi-player game Counter Strike Global Offensive (along with Argentina, Romania and Slovakia).
