The Reds value him as highly as Sadio Mane, who became the most expensive African player ever in 2016. So it’s an almost record sum for Salah.

He scored 15 goals in 31 league appearances and helped Roma finish second in Serie A last season. Will the Reds’ shirt number 11 be as lucky?
