Fashion label, Mizizi is the brainchild of Paakow Essandoh and George Kariuki.
They were studying at the University of South Florida when they came up with the idea of launching the label.
Mizizi means ‘roots’ in Swahili. They want their customers to show their pride in where they come from. This lookbook shows off their latest collection, including American hockey jerseys, with an African twist and ‘Black Lives Matter’ motifs.
