Harambee Stars Victor Wanyama is set to sign for Tottenham in a deal reported to be in the region of GBP£11 million.

The move will reunite the burly midfielder with Mauricio Pochettino, his former boss at Southampton.

The move is a positive one for Wanyama, who will compete against the best in the European Champions league next year – a far cry from his humble beginnings in the Kenyan premier league.

One area where he will need to improve is his disciplinary record. He received three red cards in the 2015/2016 season at Southampton, compared to none by the entire Spurs team in the same period.

Could this be the difference in ensuring Spurs finish above Arsenal in the coming season?
