Tell us about your latest EP Backseat Galaxy.
It is a project that speaks about all my personal experiences that I want to share with the universe. The project speaks of heartbreak, and the ways in which I dealt with this heartbreak.
What are your musical influences?
I listen to an array of genres, as I feel this is how music is best derived, when one explores different elements of it. My influencers would probably have to be Tracy Chapman, Banks, The Script, Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, Kid Cudi, Timberland, Black Coffee, Black Motion, Jimmy Dludlu, Oliver Heldens etc… The list goes on.

What’s it like to work in the music industry where you are?
I don’t particularly pay attention to the music ‘industry’. I focus on what I love, and that’s making music. The music industry is a place where artists tend to focus less on the music for the industry.
What’s a night out like where you live?
I grew up in a small town called Mafikeng where nightlife options are very limited, so I tend to only go out when I’ve got a gig. To be honest with you, I’d rather be at home with a warm cup of coffee making beats in my pyjamas.
What song do you listen to: (a) turn up to (b) feel sexy (c) pine over your ex
(a) The Right Song by Tiësto and Oliver Heldens
