With the transfer deadline day in full swing, it is almost certain that Côte d’Ivoire’s Wilfried Bony will be leaving Manchester City.

Reports have it that the powerful striker who has endured a difficult spell since his transfer from Swansea is currently at Stoke discussing a loan move to the Potters.

It had been reported that West Ham might have been the destination for Bony, but it appears that since the Hammers’ capture of Italian Simone Zaza, talks with the East London team have cooled.

Bony will be hoping for much needed time on the pitch, especially with the Africa Cup of Nations tournament coming up in January 2017.
