Africa Utopia is returning to London this summer with a jam-packed programme of music, fashion, talks, discussions and plenty more from August 31 to September 4.

More than 40 events will be taking place over the course of five days. The variety means there’s something for everyone; from dance workshops to a club night, a catwalk to an in-depth weekend of talks with leading African thinkers in a range of industries.

Africa Utopia will delight any Afro-phile in existence.

And how could this get any better, you say?

TRUE Africa are hosting a panel discussion on Sunday September 4, at 2:30pm GMT with Thris Tian (of Boiler Room fame), Michelle Tiwo (Ackee & Saltfish actress extraordinaire and writer) and our editor-in-chief Claude Grunitzky to talk about how black youth culture is transcending borders today.

We repeat: it’s Sunday, 2.30pm in the Level 5 Function Room at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre in London.

We’ll also be live streaming from the fashion show at 4.30pm GMT on Saturday September 3. Check out #AFRICANSQUAD: The contemporary fashion catwalk here.

Don’t miss out and buy a Sunday pass here – or a weekend pass to enjoy all the other talks.
