Kolo Touré has nothing but praise for fellow Ivorian footballer Eric Bailly.
22-year-old Bailly is the first signing by new Manchester manager Mourinho this summer, with the deal worth a reported GBP£30 million. Seasoned defender Touré commented on how ‘proud’ he was of the centre-back who he’s played with at international level.
‘We’re proud of Eric. We’re all very happy for his move to Manchester United,’ Touré told Sport Ivoire.
‘He’s a calm guy who works a lot, and today, this work has been noticed by one of the biggest clubs in Europe.’
Bailly looks set for success after the move from Villareal whilst 35-year-old Touré is now a free agent after Liverpool did not renew his contract in June.
