British boxer and undefeated IBF champion Anthony Joshua is to fight Mexican American Eric Molina in December in Manchester.

Joshua had been widely expected to face Wladimir Klitschko, with his promoter Eddie Hearn previously stating that he was ’70 per cent sure’ the fight could be delivered. That fight now appears to be in Joshua’s 2017 calendar, as his attention turns to the December 10 bout with Molina.

Molina who lost his previous match to American Deontay Wilder will provide a stern test for Joshua, who has breezed through his first 17 professional bouts, winning all by knockout. AJ himself has stated that ‘I’m expecting this to be the toughest fight of my career so far and I will be ready for an all-out war’.

Boxing enthusiasts will be watching closely to see whether he can further enhance his growing reputation within heavyweight boxing.
