TRUE Africa

New afrofuturistic festival in Paris plunges you into the sounds of Dakar, Kinshasa, Cotonou and Luanda

If you’re in Paris this weekend, get yourself down to the first ever digital festival Black(s) to the Future. It’s happening on July 2 and 3, at the Petit Bain – a 45-metre-long floating cultural venue on the Seine.

You can listen to Senegalese Ibaaku, South African Mo Laudi, Lulendo from Angola and others. As well as some some pretty heavy beats, there’ll be dance workshops, screenings, food and an exhibition featuring Cotonou artist Emo de Medeiros and our very own Warrior Healer Tabita Rezaire.

Have a look at the line-up here blackstothefuture.com

The event is free on Saturday from 4pm to 6am and Sunday from 4pm to midnight (except the night club which will be € 10 on presale and 13 € on site)
