Young Paris is hosting an evening of talks and workshops at the Brooklyn Museum with The Very Black Project on February 6.
They promise a night of examining ‘the past, present, and future of black radicalism’.

Young Paris can’t be put into a box. He’s not just a musician. He’s a modern-day entrepreneur to his core: he’s remixed Wizkid’s Ojulegba; launched the hashtag #MelaninMonday that’s been used over 50,000 times; and is now holding seminars at the Brooklyn Museum – thousands have already clicked attending on Facebook.
Collaborators The Very Black Project are high achievers too. What started as a humble social campaign created by André D. Singleton and graphic designer Justin Fulton to get black people across the globe appreciating themselves has led to a fashion brand and hugely popular online movement.
