Lagos Fashion and Design Week is back in town from October 28 to 31.
Expect the likes of international designer Amaka Osakwe (the brains behind Maki Oh) to get their fashion on during four days, at the leading fashion event in West Africa.
There’s a great range of designers. I particularly liked Ejiro Amos Tafiri’s bridal collection last year. There won’t be the generic batik print stamped all over the catwalk – refreshing to say the least.
Another great thing is the training and experience aspiring young talent obtain. It seems inclusive and fun… and on a more superficial level all the eye candy will be great.
