TRUE Africa

OmenaLab: the pan-African creative hub nurturing cultural entrepreneurship

OmenaLab is the first pan-African hub dedicated to cultural entrepreneurship.

The platform provides new talents with resources such as business tools, a community of experts and investors, professional development and guidance to boost their project.

Cultural activities are drivers of meaningful development and a medium for pride and cultural preservation.

The vision is to position arts as a vehicle for economic growth and social transformation across Africa. Cultural activities are drivers of meaningful development and a medium for pride and cultural preservation and the hub strives to develop the next generation of culture champions. One of our upcoming partners is Festival à Sahel Ouvert, a music and culture festival taking place in Mboumba, Senegal next month.

OmenaLab’s acceleration programme is tailored to individual artists or startups needs and supports them to identify bottlenecks to realising the full potential of their project.

We (including editor-in-chief Claude Grunitzky who is a board member) are currently collaborating with dynamic cultural entrepreneurs to develop their projects.
