A year ago, Lo-fi Odysseys blessed us with the release of the first of his five-part series titled Palm Wine BEATS, taking us on a powerful journey into Nigeria’s musicology.
Each volume is an attempt to explore a different period of the country’s music from the viewpoint of its evolving diaspora.
And now Palm Wine BEATS Vol 3 will be previewed on August 20 at the Total Refreshment Centre (in London) and organised by Soul Label. The label promises a journey through time, bringing you back to ‘74/’84 Lagos with different DJ sets, a panel discussion, music workshops and plenty of food.
