Dakar-innovation hub Jokkolabs has teamed up with Société Générale to launch a hackathon with the intent to reinvent the banking experience.
Jokkolabs launched in 2010 and has offices in eight African countries. Their co-working spaces allow entrepreneurs and dynamic individuals to come up with innovative ways to use new technology and engage with their communities. There are still a few days to apply to take part in the hackathon: the team with the best ideas will be invited to Dakar on February 6 and 7 to participate. The jury will pick three winning teams at the end of the event: the largest prize is EUR€8,000.
