What do you do if you’re a sensitive, light-skinned rapper minding his business, and a stranger from across the world comments on your shopping habits? No, not you Drake.

Like a true boss, South African rap superstar AKA decided to share detailed photographic evidence of his holiday spending spree with his Twitter followers, all because one of them accused him of buying some products on sale.

If you don’t stalk the stunning style maven Bonang Matheba – who happens to be dating AKA – on social media, you might not be aware that the pair recently returned from a brief holiday in Thailand and Hong Kong.

Hong Kong by day…. Ⓜ🐝😎😍

During the latter part of their trip, AKA did some serious damage because what’s a rapper without a little retail therapy?

One fan then had the nerve to comment that the items seemed to be on sale.

Bonang did not take the heinous accusation lightly.

AKA did not take the heinous accusation lightly.

Not only did he set this disrespectful follower straight, he went on to provide further evidence of his recently acquired possessions – you know, because rap songs which repeatedly discuss rapper’s belongings don’t quite pass the message across.

Our yellow fellow then went on to offer a few musings about how he expected the press to respond to his antics. Insightful stuff.

So, dearest AKA, you bought a lot of shit. And you want us to write about it. Or not. I’m glad we cleared that up.
