Botswana’s capital will be coming alive with music, poetry, comedy and more from August 27 to September 3.

Gaborone’s third annual culture week  is bringing together international stars like South Africa’s Black Coffee alongside home grown talent like Sereetsi & The Natives. Previous editions have been just as international; from Nigerian comedian Basketmouth to SA rapper Khuli Chana taking to the stage.

South African actress and poet Lebo Mashibe is one of the headliners this year, and spoke to us about looking forward to plenty at the event and reconnecting with Black Coffee:

‘I am most looking forward to seeing Black Coffee perform at GIMC. We recorded two tracks together last year, one of he decided to use as the opening track to his latest album, Pieces of Me. I am immensely proud of his success.’
